Want to make a difference but don't know how?

One way is to apply as a Resource Development Intern/Volunteer. You will work alongside Ahali staff. Responsibilities include writing and editing grant proposals, English-language reports and letters; initiating and maintaining contacts with donors, project partners and international organizations; and updating Ahali´s website. The experience offers knowledge of working in the non-profit/non-governmental sector, providing an excellent introduction to the field in a uniquely intercultural setting.

  • Compensation: Monthly stipend plus housing
  • Requirements: Minimum BA/BS, native-level English writing skills, knowledge of Middle East and development issues
  • Language: native-level English a must; Arabic/Hebrew preferred but not necessary
  • Start Date: Ongoing acceptance of applications
  • Time Commitment: minimum 6 month though preference will be given to those applicants able to commit for one year or more
  • Location: Nazareth, Israel
  • Areas of Focus: Development, Nonprofit Management, Advocacy, Socio-Economic Conditions, Agriculture, Education, Women’s Issues
